We got to see the fantastic coastline south of Puerto San Martin when we took a wildlife boat tour of the Islas Ballestra.
The soft, rolling, barren, desert-like, land of this area meets the Pacific where it exposes it's inntricate under pinnings.
The layers of sand and rock create fantastic patterns of rough walls and caves hidden under the smooth surface above.
